The House of Cooks is a place, where good food, adventures and experiences are born. Events and projects are created here. Passionate cooks, farmers, nature enthusiasts and craftsmen work together here to study and to discover unique flavors and experiences characteristic of our region.

This idea has been implemented by the Host and Chef Ēriks Dreibants in the former Līgatne Maternity Hospital “Wilhelma” (1901).

While the House of Cooks is still under construction, special and previously booked events can be organized here. Meanwhile, everyone is invited to visit the Nature Watch Garden next to the building. Here one can not only see the different flowers, shrubs, and edible plants, but also insect houses and the scenery of the River Līgatne. Patient observers will be able to experience the beautiful lively movement of nature in the garden, which we often easily miss in the hurry of everyday life.
